Capacity Development in Nutrition (CAPNUTRA) is a non-profit association actively involved in capacity development in food & nutrition, creation of the nutritional tools and harmonisation of the food consumption collection and dietary intake surveys, training and dissemination for Central and Eastern European countries (CEE)/West Balkan region, stakeholder engagements through organization of nutrition research related events, trainings and knowledge transfer.

CAPNUTRA mission is to underpin capacity development in the field of food & nutrition research in CEEC/Balkan region, by providing its members with comprehensive knowledge and training in the field of food composition and consumption research, food nutrition, development of nutritional tools and technology transfer.
By involving various stakeholders from the food and nutrition field, CAPNUTRA provides expertise and research infrastructure platform for development of programs, policies and strategies in the field of Sustainable Food Systems for healthy diets.
