Objectives

The main objectives to be achieved through capacity development activities, led by the CAPNUTRA network, are focused around three major areas: 

1. Identification of gaps and needs in food and nutrition research infrastructure (RI), knowledge & training, policies and strategies in CEE/BC; 
2. Design and implementation of RI elements – various research instruments which are harmonized with the European RI standards; 
3. Organization of various forms of education and trainings in food and nutrition for the network members in the region.
